<p><br />The northernmost part of the Comacchio coast takes its name from one of the older branches of the river Po. It is surrounded by the pine forest of the Foce di Volano Nature Reserve, with its unspoiled charm.<br /><br />From here you can enjoy direct contact with unspoiled nature to the fullest: the beaches, with their sandy shore made for long walks and sunbathing, are protected by a large pinewood and look towards the great Po Delta and the Sacca di Goro.<br /><br />Today this most unspoiled of the Seven Lidi boasts a modern tourist port near the bridge over the Volano. Due to its slightly isolated position, open to the winds and marine currents, it is the best place for specialized sports like kite surfing and windsurfing.<br /><br />Its pinewoods (pineta) are owned by the government and are there to guide the local development of environmental tourism; they are a nature reserve where you can wander for relaxation. The area is made up of recently deposited stretches of sand, which were planted with trees in the mid-1930s to save them from being eroded by the sea. As well as the Common Pine and the Maritime variety (more tolerant of salty ground), other species have been introduced like the ilex and the farnia oak.</p>

The villa is in a secular pine forest with about 1200 sq.m. of a private fenced garden and is about 300 meters from the sea. It has two floors and the apartments are all well furnished; on the first floor there is apartment Azalea which is 100 sq.m. + a 50 sq.m. terrace, on the ground floor are situated apartments Buganville and Camelia, both are 50 sq.m. and can be intercommunicating upon request. This beautiful apartment is located in Marina di Castagneto Carducci. It lies just 20 meters from one of the beaches of northern Tuscany. This apartment is located on the third (top floor) of a building which is part of an apartment complex equipped with lifts, a few small shops, a hotel and a bar. At a distance of approximately 1000 meters there is a second beach that is open to the public. The landlord rents a total of 3 private apartments. From these apartments you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea. To your left you will see the island of Elba while straight ahead lie the islands of Capraia and Corsica, and to the right, the island of Gorgona. On clear days you can even see as far as the Costa Azzurra. The charming village of Marina di Castagneto Carducci has everything you need such as boutiques, jewelers, restaurants and coffee bars. You can reach the beach through a door on the ground floor of the apartment building. There is a shower (outside) directly on the route to and from the beach. Cars can be parked on one of the many side streets near the building (note: during high season you need a parking sticker). There is the opportunity to park (by request) at a private villa which is about 300 meters from the complex.
