The real crowd puller is indeed the crypt of the basilica, a maze of galleries and corridors with numerous religious artifacts and historical remains. Boulogne-sur-Mer is and will of course remain a coastal city, so you can also go here for long beach walks and water sports. But the favorite sport of the Boulonnais, of course, remains sailing a sail truck, also known as beach sailing.
